Like all our tournaments we will be shooting digital stills for the website

like to add still pictures of the winners and wish "Everyone" to be there
after the round. This shouldn't take much longer then a couple of hours.

Flighting and Scoring
Determining
Flights will be handled by our system and the Iron Thong will be split up
into 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 for flights A/B/C on tournament day which is determined
by our system. You will be playing in groups starting with the lowest
handicap on up. You will be assigned a cart and a cart partner based on
your index on tournament day. Your partner will score you and you will
score your partner. You will be scoring total strokes and putting strokes
for each partner. You will have a specialized Iron Thong score card for
this purpose. You will receive your playing partner and cart assignments the
week of the tournament in an email so you know who to hook-up with at the
course to eliminate any confusion. In the event of a rules violation or a
question concerning a rule you "Must" consult your playing partners in your
foursome and resolve it. Do not come back to the club house and expect a
ruling!

Tournament Flow - How it Works!!
I know for a lot of us this isn't our first dance playing
in an ITG Tournament. So everyone knows how this all works out, here is
a break down of what you can do to make this tournament go smooth. And
we all like it smooth, right?
Everyone should try and be at the course at 6:30am or
there-about. We will purchase taco's, approximately 2 each and an Ice
Cold Beverage to drink for you. The Hawk will provide the tacos.
While you are there you should pay up for the tournament.
Mike Linares and Jesse Flores will be collecting the funds.
1) $1.00 donation will not be required on tournament week
2) Pay $5.00 for the skins pool.
3) Pay $5.00 for the birdie pool.
4) Pay $5.00 for the low net pool.
5) Pay your difference of 25 rounds for the season
*NOTE: Birdie and Skins Pool are not mandatory as is the
skins pool. We do ask that you consider playing in all three since it
is the tournament and by all of us participating it will increase the
pot of winnings Dramatically '
If you owe ITG Money or Dues you will be required to pay
otherwise you can't play!
Once you pay up please pay the The Hawk
Golf Club for your round, find your cart partner and load up. If your
cart partner isn't there get your cart and wait for him. Hit balls,
practice putting and get ready to tee off.
During the round if you encounter a rules violation please consult with
your playing partners in your group. The players in your group will
determine the correct course of action. Once that is decided upon it is
official. If you are unsure of a certain situation - ASK your playing
partners.
We are grouped by Handicap, the lowest
handicap player will tee off in the first group on up. You will be given
an Official ITG score card. On this score card you will track your cart
partners strokes and putts. At the end of the round you will attest
each others cards once signed and turned into John Hernandez they will
be official and entered into the system.
*Counting putting strokes only count if
the ball is on the green. If you use your putter as an approach shot
that is not considered a putt. If you putt the ball off the green you
have to chip back on that is considered a putt. Once the first initial
putt on the green is stroked we count all strokes until the ball is
holed.
*Longest drive - the longest drive hole
is Hole #14. You must hit the Fairway for this to count.
Players in the last group will be responsible for picking
up the par 3 and longest drive markers and bringing them back to the
club house.
Thank you!
After the round please meeting on the patio behind the
club house. Check your cards, turn them in and get something to eat.
Expect to hang around for at least 2 hours after the round for the
awards ceremony.
The Awards ceremony normally takes an hour or so
so please plan on staying afterwards. You never know, you may be the
big winner. The low net player overall wins the ITG Traveling trophy
for 6 months and your name engraved on it.
The President of the club Steve Vanwert will be handing
out all awards.
Good Luck!!! And Hit them straight and long!!!!
