Meeting called to order 7:30 pm

We basically talked about the up coming tournament. Since Pecan Valley can not host our tournament until the later part of July we are abandoning this option. At this point the Tournament will be held at either Golf Club of Texas if they can host us the morning of July 8th and if not we will play the Buckhorn in Comfort the following week 6/15/06. The golf club of Texas will give all our military folks a discount and we ask that we work this out so everyone pays the same. Details will follow as we may be able to play with the military price if in fact we get the 8th. Otherwise the Buckhorn will be $42.00 dollars.

GOOD NEWS - Steve V. Got a voucher for golf for 4 at Randolph Air Base. This round will be raffled off on our Tournament Day! Yet another spiff for Thongers!

We will have gift bags for all Thongers handed out on Tournament Day.

COUNTING PUTTS IN TOURNAMENT

We counting putts in the tournament your ball "MUST" be on the green and each stroke will count as a putt from there. If you use your putter from "OFF" the putting green it is "NOT" counted as a putt. Also, if you use any other club on the green surface it is counted as a putt.

DUES Are DUE in July 2006

The $20.00 Dues for next 6 Months are due in July. We hope that you feel as though your participation in the IRON THONG was well worth your $20.00 dues for the first 6 months and we sincerely hope you continue supporting our local golf group.

NEW AMENDMENTS TO BY LAWS

All new players added to the Iron Thong can be recommended buy a member but must play 3 rounds prior to joining.

OR

A walk on player to the Iron Thong that no member recommends must be voted in but the members prior to his 4th round and then may pay in to become a member. The vote will be tabulated by the members present on the end of the third round.
