Steve Van wert's Treasurer Report - $449.00
The Topics Discussed that were a concern to the group and
the decisions made are as follow:
Old Business:
Steve Van wert was checking into a bank
account to house our money. His findings are as follows:
Saving account cost $3.00 per month if we
drop below $200.00 or a checking account that cost $5.00 per month but we
have access to an ATM Card. A vote was taken and won 8 to 0 "YES" to go with
a Savings Account.
* Steve Van wert will take care of opening
a Savings account for Iron Thong.
Out of Bounds #7 Willow. It was
determined that out of bound is "ANYTHING RIGHT OF THE #7 CARTPATH". If you
go for it and don't make the fairway over the trees - take a 1 stroke
penalty and re-tee the ball.
If there is a penalty during play and it
can not be resolved within your playing group the proper procedures are as
follows:
Play a provisional ball, then continue
playing both balls to the green. Card both scores making note which one was
the original ball and which one was the provisional. The dispute will be
handled after the round in the clubhouse and the proper ruling will be
enforced.
New Business:
The Skins and Handicaps will now be
calculated @ 80%. Previosly we used %100 so this means everyone has to play
above and behond what there handicap is. This should make it fair for the
lower handicap players that are more consistant. A Vote was taken and won
8-0
Non-Members in the Iron Thong are not
permitted to participate in the Birdie pool. A vote was taken and won 7-1.
From this point forward there will be
multiple skin pools. We will play in flights. All players with a handicap
of 0-18 will be in flight A and players with an 19-36.4 will play in flight
B. This ensures even play. The only exception to this rule is 4 players
must be present to complete a flight otherwise on that given day everyone
plays in A Flight. A vote was taken and won 5-2
Meeting Notices will go out with the
meeting minutes from the previous meeting. This ensures every member has
ample notice to attend the meetings. Voted "YES" - 8-0
Every meeting we will discuss particular
rules to ensure everyone understands the basic rules of golf.

Next Meeting is scheduled for June 22nd.
Place of meeting is to be announced 2 weeks prior. Meeting time will be
7:00pm and last for Approx 1.5 hours.
Special Note Everyone needs to
know: Mr. Ed Gambal has decided to step down as President of the Iron Thong
Golfing Gang. We will need someone who is interested in filling this role
to step forward for nomination. Anyone is eligable. The term of this seat
will last until October 2006, which at that time, all officer positions are
open to nominate for. A Vote will be taken and the position filled on June
22nd which is our next meeting.
